One unit is from Samsung while the other is from Novatel. The Verizon units are considered to be the fastest mobile network in the United States. The company’s mobile hotspot stands out because it can connect to up to five devices into its network with equal high-speed connection.
A mobile hotspot is a gadget that is a little bigger than a credit card that combines a mobile broadband modem with a WiFi router so multiple devices can connect to it at the same time. You just have to turn the modem on and you have the connection you need. The 4G network of Verizon will find the fastest network connection for you.
Connectivity speed
When you are in a mobile setting, your first concern would be how fast the hotspot can get you online. Connectivity-wise, the Novatel 4G LTE and the Samsung 4G LTE share the same speed. Within 15 seconds of turning on the power button, you are ready to surf the Net. Samsung runs faster by a second or two, but both of them will get you online quickly.
Online speed

Battery life
For mobile users, the battery life of their MIFI 4G device is important because it tells how long they would be able to use it without the battery being exhausted. Both the Novatel 4G LTE and the Samsung 4G LTE are built with an integrated battery. On a single charge, the Novatel 4G LTE lasts 15 minutes longer than the Samsung 4G LTE. There are also no significant differences between the two in this aspect because they can both be plugged into a laptop using a USB port for operation and charging. As long as you have your USB port and laptop with you, you don’t have to worry about losing power.
The battery of both these devices is expensive and it could more or less cost you $50 for a new one so Verizon decided to offer an extended battery for the Samsung device that can double its lifespan. In terms of size, Samsung is smaller than Novatel but when it comes to performance, there is practically nothing to worry about because they don’t differ that much.
Both of these gadgets made by Verizon are good with the function that they are made for. Even though Novatel 4G LTE was released after Samsung, they both share the MIFI 4G you will need to have fast and reliable internet connection like no other.
